Terms of Service

Scope of Services

FutureBuilt Digital provides website design, development, and related services for contractors and local service businesses. The specific scope of work, deliverables, and pricing for each project are confirmed prior to work beginning, either through written agreement or confirmed email exchange.

Payment Terms

Standard Build projects ($1,200) are typically paid in full or in two milestones (50% at kickoff, 50% before launch). Custom projects may have a different payment schedule agreed upon in writing before work begins.

Work does not begin until payment (or the first milestone payment) is received. Final deliverables are not transferred to the client until full payment is complete.

Revisions

The Standard Build includes one (1) round of revisions. Revision requests should be consolidated and submitted in a single document or message. Additional revision rounds beyond what is included in your package may be billed at an hourly rate, agreed upon before the additional work begins.

Content and Materials

The client is responsible for providing business information, service descriptions, service area details, photos, logos, and any other content needed to build the site. FutureBuilt Digital will refine and structure this content but is not responsible for the accuracy of information provided by the client.

Ownership

Upon full payment, the client owns the final website content, copy, and design assets created for their project. FutureBuilt Digital retains the right to display completed work as portfolio samples unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

Ongoing Maintenance

Ongoing maintenance ($149/month) is a month-to-month service that can be cancelled with 30 days written notice. Maintenance includes hosting, security monitoring, backups, routine updates, small content edits, and contact form monitoring as described on our services page. It does not include major redesigns, new feature development, or content rewrites beyond minor edits.

Limitation of Liability

FutureBuilt Digital is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of delivered services or websites. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific project or service in question.
